WHO ARE WE?
Zoe Hawkins-Wells is a dance professional that's overwhelmed by how beautiful line dancing is for everyone -- amateurs to professionals, the young and old, the far and near. She has a BA in Dance from The Colorado College, toured with The Dance Threatre of Oregon, was the Artistic Director of the Brazen Hussies Dance Company in Key West, Florida and taught and choreographed for several dance and theater companies accrsss the country. She teaches in the Asheville area with Stepping Out AVL, classes at Uphora Dance, at Fitz & The Wolfe, King 185 and Grey Hawk Bar & Gardens.
Her love of line dancing inspired the founding of Blue Country -- and we have blossomed into a group of bitten-by-the-line-dance-bug dancers who are passionate about country western dance, building community and spreading the electric feels that come with line dancing culture. We are Asheville-based dancers, instructors and dance-party enthusiasts that embrace all genres of music & dance styles including hip hop, reggae, pop, rap, metal, and of course -- COUNTRY, that's alive and pulsing in these beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains
