Giddy Ups are three-hour dance-a-thons that's continuous line dancing learned in previously learned classes, workshops and Giddy-Ups.  One to four lessons are included.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to stay the entire time, dancing what you know, trying on the fly to pick up ones you don't, and cheer on other dancers for dances you want to watch.

Beginner Hour: 11am-12pm with Lesson at 11:30am

First Half (11am-12:30pm) focuses on Beginner & Improver Dances with Lesson(s) at 12:30pm

Second Half (12:30-2pm) focuses on Improver thru Advanced Dances

Workshops (beginner, improver, intermediate-advanced levels) are posted on instagram and Facebook under @bluecountrylinedance and Zoe Hawkins-Wells  / Locations Vary.

Classes in early 2026 focus on leaning intermediate classes taught at an improver (the level between high beginner and intermediate) pace. We learn one dance in about an hour. These dances are currently popular at Giddy Up and at Banks Ave Bar with Steppin' Out AVL so there are many opporuntities to practice them. Practiving at home is also highly encouraged to keep the steps in your body.

Classes are held at Uphora Dance studio or in Mars Hill at the Higgins Branch studio (private). More details on Insta & FB are posted when occurring.
